CAPTAIN MILLER Stunning Thumbnail Picture Released

It has long been speculated that Dhanush will collaborate with filmmaker Arun Matheswaran (of Rocky and Saani Kaayidham fame) on a period piece. Captain Miller, as the project is now known, was formally announced on Saturday. Dhanush and the film's producer, Sathya Jyothi Films, revealed the project in a brief teaser video.

Official Announcement video of #CaptainMiller by Sathya Jyothi Films T.G. Thyagarajan and produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan. The film is co-produced by G. Saravanan and Sai Siddharth.

Dhanush, the Kollywood superstar, released a teaser for his upcoming film 'Captain Miller' this week, raking up millions of views within hours and generating international interest.

The much awaited film, directed by Arun Matheswaran and starring Dhanush, piqued the interest of many with its swashbuckling images and familiarly potent title.

Captain Miller is also the name of the first Black Tiger of the LTTE.

Miller, the nomme de geurre of Vallipuram Vasanthan, carried out the first-ever Black Tiger attack on a Sri Lankan Army base in Nelliyadi, Jaffna province, by driving an explosives-laden vehicle into it. The attack killed at least forty Sri Lankan soldiers.
