"Pushpa - The Rise," starring Telugu actor Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, has been named Film of the Year at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2022.

"Pushpa: The Rise," directed by Sukumar, is an action comedy that debuted in theaters on December 17 and received a lot of positive feedback. Mythri Movie Makers' Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, together with Muttamsetty Media, produced the film. It has a global revenue of more than Rs 350 crores. Meanwhile, "Shershaah," starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, won Best Film at DPIFF 2022, with Sidharth receiving Best Actor and Kiara selected Best Actress for their roles in the film. Best Actor went to Ranveer Singh for "83," while Best Actress went to Kriti Sanon for "Mimi."
