Kacha Badam singer Bhuban Badyakar is not selling peanuts anymore

Bhuban Badyakar, Bengal's latest viral phenomenon, appears to have gone full circle. It's been a dream come true, from selling peanuts in a small town in Birbhum to playing live at a nightclub in Kolkata.

Bhuban stated to a crowded house at a luxury Kolkata nightclub on Friday night, "I am really glad to be here with you all today." Bhuban, dressed in a sparkly jacket, performed his popular Kacha Badam song, which sent the audience into a frenzied frenzy!

He was trying to support a family of 10 on his little peanut-selling income just three months ago. A music business sent him a check for Rs 1.5 lakh as royalties for his earthy melody last week.

Bhuban claimed he hasn't gone out to sell peanuts since his town learned about his sudden celebrity. "My neighbors warned me not to go out in case I was kidnapped!"

Bhuban also expressed his pride when his kid informs him that fresh versions of the song he wrote are appearing on the internet every day.
